Tempted was established by Davy Uprichard and his family back in 2009. His purpose-built Cidery is located at his home just outside Lisburn and it was here where he started pressing apples. Davy produced his first cider in 2010, using skills he learned while making wine with his father, Jim, many years before.
Two years later, he won the Gold Award in the Cider Category at the National Irish Food Awards for his Strawberry Cider! Davy has picked up a National Award every year since then, for each style he has presented to be judged. And so, Tempted Cider was born and has become Ireland’s Most Awarded Cider.
